Lake City - Douglas Wayne Seelye, longtime resident of the Lake City area, was welcomed home to heaven by his bride, Joyce, of over 70 years, on Wednesday, August 5, 2026. He was 88. Doug was born on June 1, 1938, in McBain, Michigan, to Orville and Reo (DuVall) Seelye. He grew up in McBain and joined in holy matrimony to the former Joyce Elaine Gilde on December 10, 1955.
