Jack Terrien Obituary

Jack E. Terrien, age 78, of Houghton Lake passed away on Friday April 12, 2024 at home.

Jack was born on December 14, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan to John and Merrily (Becker) Terrien. Jack had come to Houghton Lake most of his life visiting family before moving here in 2018. He owned and operated a roofing company for many years. Jack later became a horse trainer and owner due to his love for race horses.

Jack is survived by his children; Carol Lynn Reeves, Gary (Cynthia) Terrien and Shelly (Charlie) Terrien, grandchildren; Kristin Misoviski, Kassie Aldred, Jack Reeves, Beau Terrien, Natalie Terrien, Elizabeth Terrien, Taylor Pitlock, Thomas Pitlock and Tracy Pitlock, great grandchildren; Charles, Pearl, Addy and Elton, Siblings; Donald (Jill) McLeod, Robert (Susan) McLeod, Candice (Jim) Humpal and Dean (Winona) McLeod. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Private family services will be held. Interment will be in Roscommon Township Cemetery, Houghton Lake. Christler Funeral Home-Prudenville Chapel is serving the family. Condolences can be sent to the family online at www.christler-holdship.com
