Thinking of you during this sad time. John did many good things "behind the scenes." He will also be remembered for the work he and Don did compiling the History for the Centennial in 1968. My prayers are with his family.

Its taken me a few days to send a tribute, there is no short version of of knowing John, first thoughts as I recall, I remember him coming home from serving our country, and bought a new Ford convertible that was a big deal back then, Don and I were really impressed,.Then, every single property we sold, Nip, John or Don did the title work. Rest in peace my friend, I am a better person because of you. Bless your family, you are all in our thoughts and prayers.Wayne and Dorothy

I can look back over 30 years at all the abstract work that he did for the bank , he was one great guy to work with. Then came all the camping and fishing trips to Canada, the times he and Butch and I spent on Long and Goose lake in our waders, the summer months with the cook outs and the penny anti cards we had in Moddersville. We also had three fun filled trips with our family to the east coast, Kentucky and Yellowstone. These are just some of the memories with a great friend. May the Lord bless and keep you. Erv Borsum

John and Don were 2 guys that they made you laugh so much. I remember when my mom worked in the old library in the courthouse, the pair would hid in the empty furniture boxes and jump out at any one, I was one of those people that the guys scared...Thoughts and prayers to the family, John was a good person. Carol (Mc Giness) James)
