Steven Robert Schultz, age 54 of Lake City passed away September 1, 2015 at his home due to apparant heart failure.

He was born in Wayne County, Michigan on October 14, 1960 to Robert and Carolyn (Hubbard) Schultz.

Steve graduated from Lake City High School in 1978. He worked construction in Romulus for a number of years before being employed at Chrysler Automotive in Wayne County for over 10 years before moving back to Lake City in 2007.

Steven enjoyed the out of doors, especially fishing and hunting. He was an avid Lions fan and loved Elvis music and John Wayne movies and his John Deere gators.

He is survived by his mother, Carolyn Schultz of Cadillac, a brother Derrick (Rose) Schultz and a sister Sharilyn (Larry) Booms both of Lake City.
He is also survived by nieces and nephews; Katie (Michael) Morris, Emily Schultz, Elissa Booms, Austin Booms and two great nephews Gavin and Dayton.

Steven was preceded in death by his father, Robert Schultz in 2014 and a beloved dog, Miss Budger.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at the Young Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Siler officiating.

A time of visitation will be prior to services beginning at 10:00 am.
