Message from John Musselman - December 29, 2015 at 05:57 PM

We have many memories of Duane and as we reminisced over them we had tears of joy and sadness. Duane would visit Maria and I quite often, he watch our kids at times and even spent about 6 weeks with us when he broke his leg. He was easy to talk with and would make us laugh. We enjoyed his company and his friendship. We all have a calling and a purpose in life, however, it isn't always clear. I believe it is far bigger than our job, and deeper than our personal accomplishments. It can be higher than our wildest ideas of self-fulfillment which can keep us seeking answers to our very existence. Times can be hard and demanding, but never forget that life is special. All of life. Duane your life was special to all of us.Psalms 118: 16,17 "The Lord's right hand is lifted high; the Lord's right hand has done mighty things!" "I will not die but live, and will proclaim what the Lord has done."On behalf of Keisha, Hannah, Joshua, and Maria. Thanks be to God for you and the time we had with you.Love you, John Musselman

Message from Ken Gill - December 27, 2015 at 02:05 PM

Duane, Buck, and I spent allot of time together when we were younger ; riding the bus to school; pruning trees for Dennis, Glenna, Bob and Jessie; his old Impala; and all the junk that teenagers did. Great time Duane. Wouldn't have been as good without you. THANKS FOR THOSE MEMORIES!!!!R.I.P. Ken Gill

When I think of Duane I think of laughter. That is what he always gave me when I was with him. Sitting on the porch will not be the same now because he wont be there to keep us bursting out in laughter and tears from laughing so much. He was a good friend and I will miss him always.
