Tami,I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your Dad. I have so many fond memories of growing up together in Walled Lake and spending time at your home with your family. Bob was a wonderful man who always was kind and had a smile on his face. Prayers are sent to you and your family during this time of sorrow. Wish I could be in MI with you to give you a hug and a shoulder to cry on. Love, Michele

I will always hear his voice in my memory. He's with Cori now and they are our angels. I feel blessed to have known him all these years. My heart hurts.

We are so saddened by the loss of this great, wonderful and gentle man. We had the honor of spending time with all of you at Tami's home in Arizona as he proudly deep fried as many fish as we all could eat! Thank you for making us a part of your beautiful family and know that we are with you as you experience your loss. Heaven has another angel! Much love and hugs to all of you. Rick and Laura Hoye

So very sorry for the loss of Bob, he was a wonderful sweet man. I started working with Bob at WI in 1979 for the maintenance crew and I couldn't have asked for a nicer man to work with. I used to call him "Stinkey Steiney" because back then we had to travel in a van back and forth from our building off Easy Street to the main building off Maple Rd., of course the van was usually full of people and he would fart in the van every time!!! He made me laugh so often. I truly have very fond memories of him and I will never forget him. Heaven has a new angel. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.SincerelyKendra Styke

Message from Grant Kevonian - October 30, 2014 at 10:04 PM

Bob and I have been friends ever since we were boys delivering paper for the Detroit Free Press. We had many fine adventures: hitching rides to go fishing at Walled Lake; working at the corner store; having good times riding our bikes all over, or just hanging out. I wouldn’t say we were bad. Maybe just “adventuresome”. But we had a lot of fun! My two daughters grew up in the shadow of Tami and Lori. They were like family to all of us. I will miss reminiscing about times gone by, and all our visits over the years. I will miss Bob as a good, kind person—but most of all I will miss my friend, Bob.Our deepest condolences go to Gert, Tami and Lori, and all their families. Grant Kevonian and Maryann
