It's hard to put into words what we are feeling right now as I'm sure everyone has that to deal with. Lucille was by no accident driving by our Dairy Queen one day, I happened to be outside and she came running up to me saying, "I want to manage your DQ for you!"...that was the beginning of a very successful arrangement as she took over the store as though she was the owner (a very good thing)..and for 13 years she diligently lead the employees and every aspect of our business. She became a trainer of DQ managers/owners from stores all over the country. We have received numerous notes/emails from International Dairy Queen officers that had met and enjoyed Lucille over the years...they have high regard for her and now pass their respect on to the family. We traveled with Lu and Richard to many places, even to Hawaii, San Antonio, Florida, and other places for DQ Expo gatherings. I personally loved sharing the love of God with her, we would pray before interviewing 100's of job seekers and because we shared the same beliefs, God blessed our work. I loved her so much. We both did. I respect Lucille and Richard's love of their family, always so giving and thoughtful. Richard, our love for her includes our depth of love for you! May God bless you deeply and keep you close to Him for your daily strength and comfort. Your angel has always been an angel to us!!!!Sorry we are out of town and unable to be at Saturday's service, but we are there in thoughts, prayers, spirit and hearts Larry and Sherry Davy.

Some of the best memories of growing up were spent at Green Knoll Resort in August with my family. I had so many wonderful times up there and became very good friends with Denise. Even though we lost touch I have thought of you all often. Lucille, thanks for being a big part of the best times of my summers. Love you all and are sending prayers and thoughts.
