Prayers are with all of the family. Joyce was a special friend during my school days in Lake City. We were classmates. In the last few years I was able to see her at class reunions. She was a very special gal. Marjorie Gundy Mitts

Joyce and I were double cousins. Her dad and my dad married sisters. The sisters were Joyce's mom, Margaret Reinink, and my mom, Jeanette Reinink. I am saddened by her death, but now she has restored health in Heaven. I haven't seen Joyce since high school and that also saddens me, but she was a favorite cousin of mine. My family and I vacationed for multiple years the last two weeks of June in Falmouth, Lake City and Cadillac visiting my Grandma Reinink and Aunt Mina and also visiting l my mother's (and also Aunt Margaret's) brothers. Joyce, my sister and I would walk downtown to Lake City and hang out. Joyce was special. We certainly had some fun family reunions those two weeks in June at my Uncle Pete's house. May Joyce rest in peace. Your cousin Martha (Marti) Francisco Disler

This is not a specific memory but whenever I ran into Joyce it was in her "happy place" , either out listening to music, strolling through flower beds, catching up on her recent beach and shelling excursion, or most of all, sharing about her beloved grandchildren. She had spunk that struck me as amazing for such a small, frail, chronically ill lady. She did her best for many many years in difficult circumstances and I will always remember that when I think of Joyce. God rest and keep her dear soul.
