Joy had a heart that could give endlessly. I hadn't seen her in several years but was happy that we reconnected. She was a very special woman and will be missed by many. Joy and I worked together on and off during the last 10 years. She was presently my store manager at Next Door Stores. Joy always did a good job.She was always smiling and happy and enjoyed talking to people. She will be missed!

David and I both knew and loved Joy. She was a relative through my first marriage for 20 years and then stayed on as one of my best friends. Joy was my Maid of Honor when David and I married. We both will miss her. We always laughed whenever we were together, no matter what we were doing.

I'm saddened to learn of Joy's passing. She and her family were some of the first people I met when I moved to Northport many years ago. Joy was always friendly and fun to hang around with.I lost touch with her, but several years ago I ran into her again, she was managing a gas station/convenience store on Front St. As always, it was a joy to run into Joy.
