Amy loved her birds, she a one legged woodpecker that came back every year. It was a treat to stop watch that bird. She blessed our family in many ways for many years. She was expecially proud of the house e her and Babe had built from the ground up.she was very proud of each of her children, each time we chatted, she would tell me the progress that each one had made.her and Babe would go ride through t he woods in the afternoon and enjoy each others company.I'm proud I've been a part of her life and will continue to always love her. GOD BLESS YOU AMY

Sorry for your loss, even thought it has been years since I have seen her, when I would have the chance to visit with Amy years ago, there was always laughter.

So happy to call you "friend" and to have had the privilege of going to school with you for many years and glad we could stay in touch until your last days on this earth. I admire at what a strong person you were with your battle of cancer, You were/are an inspiration and you leave behind the wonderful family that is only possible because you were part of it.
Message from Jessica Williams - December 21, 2014 at 03:28 PM

Amy was the embodiment of the saying "treat others as you would want to be treated". She was a mother to all who were blessed enough to know her- loving and encouraging yet able to be the best friend who would laugh and act like an idiot with you too. I will never forget the times I shared with her, the stupid things I had done to get a laugh out of her, all the boggle games I made up words in to try to out score her.... And when she told me 6+ years ago when watching me and Luke at work that we would end up together (although both he and I would NEVER had thought of each other in that way)...that we actually would and are now awaiting our wedding date. She was an insightful person who could read the hearts and hurts of people around her. She will forever have a special place on the mantel in my heart.

Amy was so fun and interesting to be around. She loved her family and friends with such passion. She was proud of the beautiful family and home she created with the love of her life, Babe. I am so glad she and Babe moved to Jennings. My mother was always telling me how Amy would sit by her at church and she really looked forward to that time with her. Amy treated my mom like she was her own. From helping her with hanging a door to helping with her birthday bash last summer she was a great friend to both of us. The bird competition was a little wierd but you both enjoyed seeing who had the best variety and numbers! You always made me feel welcomed and loved. Gone too soon. I will miss you, Amy!

Amy and I spent so much of our youth together, having fun and getting into "trouble. My Mom, Georgette, Amy and I traveled to Florida, Washington D.C, the U.P and other places making memories. So many years I have said "I have to reconnect with Amy". How quickly time travels. Even though its been several years since we spoke, my heart will miss her. She loved her family so very much. I know that you are up in heaven sharing your thoughts and bragging about your kids and grandkids.. Thank you for making a difference in so many lives.

Amy was such a good friend when we were younger. I always thought shevwas such a beautiful girl and looked up to her growing up. I was hoping to reconnect this next summer and am sad I won't get the chance to talk to this wonderful lady. I thought there would be time. My heart goes out to all of her family. She must have been an incredible lady as I knew her as an incredible child/young lady. God is lucky to get a wonderful angel!!!
