Suzanne (Slachter) Slack

Suzanne Slack, of Cadillac, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2024 at Autumnwood of McBain. She was 74.

Suzanne was born on April 27, 1949 in Cadillac, Michigan to Adrian and Joanne (Paquette) Slachter. Suzanne entered into marriage with William L. Slack in 1974. The couple spent two years together, until his time of passing in 1976. She spent her career working as a manager in food service for many years. In her spare time, she could often be found caring for her cats. She spent many years helping rescue, fix and re-home cats as well as other animal through rescue services. She was a voice for those that didn't have one.

Suzanne is survived by her loving daughter-in-law, Arianna Slack of New Brighton, MN; grandchildren, Nathaniel, Alexandria and Declan Slack; mother-in-law, Marge Slack; step-mother, Donna Slachter; siblings, Shannon Slack of Austin TX;  step-siblings, Michael (Mary) Black; Kristine Black; Noelle (Rick) Kangas; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other loving family and friends.
  
She was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Slack; son, Christopher Slack; her parents, Adrian Slachter and Joanne Paquette; and brother, Sherman Slachter.
  
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
