Lovelle M. (Crase) Torchia

Lovelle M. Torchia, age 77, of Prudenville, previously of Winter Haven, Florida passed away on Sunday June 26, 2022 at MyMichigan Medical Center-Midland. 

Lovelle was born on June 20, 1945 in Whitesburg, Kentucky to Tilden & Eunice (Holcomb) Crase. She graduated from Whitesburg High School. Lovelle moved to the Prudenville area in 1972. She was very loving and giving, she was the activity director at Cambridge North Nursing Home in Clawson, she enjoyed serving the residents, lifting their spirits. She also enjoyed fishing, sketching and her cats.

Lovelle is survived by her loving children; Don (Kathy) Torchia of Rochester Hills, Randy Torchia of Prudenville and Brian (Shatari) Torchia of Berwyn, Illinois, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren and sister: Angie Cornet of Maryland. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter; Margaret Hasty.  

A Celebration of Life Service will be held for Lovelle M. Torchia on Friday July 8, 20222 at 1 pm from Christler Funeral Home-Prudenville Chapel with Rev. Bryan Thompson officiating. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Friday July 8, 2022 from 12:00 pm until the time of the service. Burial will be in Denton Township Cemetery, Prudenville.
