Kimberly Beth Wood

Kimberly Beth Wood, of Cadillac, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at her home. She was 68. 
  
She was born on April 21, 1958 in Cadillac, Michigan to Charles and Virginia (McNally) Wood. For more than a decade, Kim proudly carried on her family's legacy by operating Woody's Store in Cadillac. She took great pride in serving her community and building relationships with the many customers who became like family over the years. Kim found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved baking and cooking, always finding happiness in preparing meals and treats to share with those she loved. Whether tending to her colorful flowers or nurturing her plants, Kim's green thumb brought beauty and life to everything she touched. Above all else, Kim cherished her family. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and she treasured every moment she shared with them. 

Kimberly is survived by her loving sons, Matthew Millikin of Grand Rapids, Levi Gydesen of Brethren, and Cody (Amber) Gydesen of Cadillac; grandchildren, Annabelle, Kenleigh, Jackson, Lexi, Maya and Hannah; sisters, Sheryl Ball, Jennifer (Terry) Losinger; several nieces and nephews; and many other loving family and friends.
  
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Virginia Wood; brothers, Chuck Wood and Jerry Wood; and brother-in-law, Jerry Ball.
  
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
