Manton - Katrina Rose Dimitri, of Manton, passed away from natural causes/ heart attack on Monday, January 29th 2024 at home. She was 39.
Katrina was born on September 3, 1984, in Detroit, Michigan to Theodore and Kathleen (Piippo) Dimitri. "Trina", as most knew her, grew up in the Manton area and became a member of the 2002 graduating class of Manton Rangers. She was a beautiful, radiant soul, loving daughter, and one who loved her family tremendously. Trina has the most beautiful smile and fun personality, always trying to bring a smile or laugh to those around her. Trina helped her father out running the family business Dimitri's Classic Motors and Collision in Cadillac for a number of years. Nothing made her more proud than being a wonderful aunt to nephew and nieces, a title she held very close to heart. Trina could often be found taking care of animals no matter where she was. She enjoyed the outdoors and sunshine, summer days swimming and taking care of floral's. Trina will be deeply missed and remembered by many.
Trina is survived by her father, Ted Dimitri of Manton; her sisters, Tabitha (Jordan) Helsel, Natasha Dimitri; her brother, Devon Dimitri; beloved nephew and nieces, Leon, Lilah, Stella and Thea; her uncles and aunt, George, Nick, Ron, John and Linda Petilli; as well as many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Kathleen Rose Piippo; her baby niece, Penelope; and her grandparents.
Visitation for friends and family will be held on Friday, February 2, 2024, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Hitesman-Holdship Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place at 11 am on Saturday, February 3, 2024, also at the funeral home, with visitation one hour prior.
