James R. Baer

James Robert Baer, age 79, of Prudenville passed away on Saturday October 1, 2022 at home.

James was born on May 30, 1943 in Detroit, Michigan to Max and Edith (Lemmon) Baer. He was married on September 24, 1977 in Sterling Heights to Cathy L. White. James retired from Chrysler in 1999. The couple moved to Prudenville from Roseville 23 years ago after his retirement. While living in Roseville he was active in Roseville Jr. Sports League and the Boy Scouts. He enjoyed hunting, watching TV and fishing.

James is survived by his loving wife of 45 years; Cathy L. Baer of Prudenville, son; Dennis (Tracy) Baer of Florida, and daughter; Nicole (Kenneth) Tippett of Macomb, granddaughters; Hannah Baer and Cailey Tippett and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings; Maxine, Ronald "Buster", and Martha.  

A Memorial Service for James Robert Baer will be conducted on Saturday October 8, 2022 at 11 am at King of Kings Lutheran Church located at 47500 Schoenherr Road, Shelby Twp., Michigan.
