Fredrick E. Waite

Manton - Fredrick Edwin Waite, longtime resident of Manton and formerly of Grand Haven, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at Munson Healthcare's Cadillac Hospital. He was 61.  Fred was born on May 9, 1958, in Grand Haven to Elmo John and Helen "Jackie" (Rue) Waite. 

Fred is survived by his wife, Phyllis Waite of Manton; his children, Katie Waite, Jason (Danielle) Waite, Jonathon Waite, and Justin (Amber Lucas) Waite; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Steve (Jeanette) Waite and Larry (Joanne) Waite; his in-laws, Jack (Pat) Hankins; as well as many other loving family members and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter in infancy, Ashley; one brother, Lewis and his sister, Darlene.

Memorial services will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, March 7, 2020, at the Manton Free Methodist Church.  His urn will be laid to rest with his family at the Greenwood Township Cemetery in the spring. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
