Edna "Jean" Taylor, age 94, of Gladwin passed away on Thursday May 28, 2020 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Jean was born on July 7, 1925 in Lansing, Michigan to Walter and Frances (Derusha) Barker. She married Donald E. Taylor on June 7, 1945 in Lansing. Jean retired from the State of Michigan where she had worked as an Administrative Assistant. She was a member of the Gladwin VFW Auxiliary and enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and reading.
Jean is survived by her daughters; Patrice Taylor of Lovells and Dennice (Mark) Wilkes of Interlochen, sons; Robert Taylor of Gladwin, Donald (Denise) Taylor of Santa Barbara, California, Michael Taylor of Gladwin and James Taylor of Gladwin, grandchildren; Tom (Karin) Tammy, Matt (Margaret), Jay (Cinamin), Sean and Mackenzie, great-grandchildren; Tiffine, Antwan, Peyton and Ella and five great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Donald E Taylor, siblings; Donna, Rex, Dorothy, Mary, Ruth and Phyllis.
Private family services will be held. Interment will be in Arlington National Cemetery. Memorial contributions in memory of Jean are asked to be directed to Heartland Hospice 564 Progress Street, West Branch, Michigan 48661.
