Dolores M. (Riendeau) Hinz

Dolores M. Hinz, age 90, of Prudenville passed away on Wednesday June 29, 2022 at Munson Medical Center, Traverse City with her loving family by her side.

Dolores was born on November 21, 1931 in Detroit, Michigan to Donald  and Rose (Dietering) Riendeau. She was married on September 30, 1950 in Detroit to John J. Hinz Jr.. Dolores was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. She enjoyed going to BINGO, crossword puzzles, reading, gardening and playing guitar.

Dolores is survived by her children; Jan (John) Garvin of Prudenville, Jeff Hinz of Harrison Twp. and Lori (Mike) McNally of Algonac, eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, son-in-law; Michael Stanosheck and brother; Dennis Riendeau of Eastpointe. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Jack J. Hinz, Jr., daughter; Pamela Stanosheck, son; John J Hinz, III, daughter-in-law: Lisa Hinz, sister; Betty Fournier and brother; Gene Riendeau.  

Mass of Christian Burial for Dolores M. Hinz will be conducted at 11 am on Friday July 8, 2022 from Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church  with Father Peter Eke officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday July 8, 2022 at the church from 10 am until the time of the service.
