Brian Arthur Olofson

Brian Arthur Olofson, of Cadillac, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at The Lodge in Taylor, Michigan. He was 58.

Brian was born on October 30, 1964 to William and Lavana (Oram) Olofson in Cadillac, Michigan. He attended Cadillac High School and later went on to join the Army, where he received his GED. Brian spent his career working as a truck driver. In his spare time, he could often be outside working on cars or going fishing. Brian was an incredibly talented mechanic. He liked music and even attempted to learn how to play the guitar, like his dad. Brian cherished the time spent with his family and friends.
  
Brian is survived by his parents, William and Lavana Olofson of Cadillac; son, Brian Daniel Olofson of Westland; sister, Deborah (Buddy) Orlando of Clarkston; brother, James (Nancy) Olofson of Standish; nieces, Brittany, Brooke, Amanda and Jasmine; grandchildren, Sofia and Evee; and many other loving family and friends.
  
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at 1 p.m. at Hitesman-Holdship Funeral Home.
