Phyllis M. Caffrey of Clearwater, Florida passed away Saturday, August 19, 2017 at the Highland Pines Health and Rehab in Clearwater.
Phyllis was born in Plains, Pennsylvania to Joseph and Mildred (Maguire) Flynn.
Her marriage to Edward Caffrey was July 14, 1951 and he preceded her in death January 30, 1992,
Phyllis was a loving and dedicated Mother. She was committed to her family and taught us an important lesson: "In every-thing, both great and small, we see the hand of God in all". She will be missed by those who knew her. Our family is very appreciative for the care provided to her at Highland Pines Health and Rehab in Clearwater, Florida.
Phyllis is survived by three daughters: Sharon Talcott of Clearwater, Florida, Doreen (Don) Byrne of McBain and Millie Caf-frey of Clearwater, Florida,
She is also survived by four grandchildren: Melissa (Jason) Cleveland, Derek (Erin) Byrne, Shannon (Dan) Scharf and Kimberly (Jeff) Beard and nine great grandchildren: Gwyneth, Lucas, McKenzie, Alivia, Aiden, Mason, June, Braxton, Meren and soon to be born, her tenth great grandchild, and a sister Jean Flynn and special nephew: Donnie (Lorraine) Flynn.
Besides her husband Edward she was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters: Betty and Lois, a brother: Donald and a son in law: Les Talcott.,
A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 1, 2017 at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Marion, Michigan with Rev. Joe Fix officiating. A time of visitation will begin at 10:00 am until the mass.
Burial will take place in the Moddersville West Cemetery in Missaukee County
The family is requesting memorial contributions be directed to Friends Ministry in Lake City.
