Ingrid Paulina Cowley, age 85 of Lake City passed away August 28, 2016 at her home.
Ingrid was born July 17, 1931 in Cadillac to John and Olive (Finstrom) Rydquist.
Proud of her Swedish heritage, she was raised at her family homestead, a dairy farm just south of Cadillac.
At the age of 18, she married Lonnie Duane Cowley on February 25, 1950 in Cadillac who preceded her in death February 14, 2015.
She enjoyed being a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Lake City, reading her Bible, raising her family, baking, gardening, walking, feeding the birds, and working on crossword and jigsaw puzzles.
Ingrid is survived by a daughter, Marcia Moore, and a brother, Carl Rydquist. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Tammy Venema, Tracey Moore, Chris Cowley, Jeremy Cowley, Brian Moore, Bradley Moore, Kevin Moore and Torry Vandenboss, nineteen great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.
Besides her husband, Lonnie, she was preceded in death by her parents, and a son, Ken Cowley.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, September 1, 2016 at the Hobart Lutheran Cemetery with Pastor Robert Quillin officiating.
