Clyde Donald Ziegler, age 59, of Lake City passed away April 23, 2017.
Clyde was born May 27, 1957 in Newport Beach, California to Donald and Mary (Schaeffer) Ziegler.
He graduated from Lake City High School and honorably served in the United States Air Force. He was a master plumber and worked on various commercial projects across the United States.
Clyde enjoyed golf and traveling with Carol, pool, the outdoors, taking care of his yard, and spending time with his family and friends. When his daughters were young he enjoyed coaching summer league girl's softball and spending his free time with his children; being the best father a man could ever hope to be.
He loved helping everyone he could, gave the best life advice (with the best jokes), and put a smile on the face of everyone he encountered, along with donating and supporting many organizations including the ASPCA, The Wounded Warrior Project, the Police and Fire Associations, and the Republican Party. As well as being a member of the Cadillac Moose Lodge.
He is survived by the love of his life Carol, his daughters: Tiffany Ziegler (Phil Dekraker) of McBain, Samantha Ziegler of Arizona, along with Carol’s children, and his grandchildren: Blaine, Alyssa and Eleanora.
He is also survived by his mother: Mary (Eunice Brown) Ziegler of Manton and his siblings Cameron, Charlotte and Craig, as well as five nieces; Stephanie, Jessica, Clare, Carly and Kaylynn, who he cared for and loved very much.
Clyde was preceded in death by his father Donald Ziegler of Georgia and grandparents Clyde and Geraldine Schaeffer.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the Young Funeral Home in Lake City beginning at 11:00 a.m.
