Cecil Geraldine Fauver, age 92 of Lake City, passed away Friday, August 17, 2017 at the Maple Ridge Living Center in Lake City.
Cecil was born November 25, 1924 in Johannesburg, Michigan to David and Alta (Lindsay) Chaffee. She married William E. Fauver in 1943 in Saginaw. He preceded her in death January 5, 1989.
Cecil loved to dance and bake. She always had goodies ready for the kids when they came home from school.
She is survived by her children: Shirley (Walt) Ahrens, Pat ( Eileen) Fauver, Earl (Lisa) Fauver, Eve (Heintz) Bujak, Linda (Rick) Alberts and Mitchell (Anna) Fauver, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Cecil was also preceded in death by her daughter Judy Goodman and thirteen siblings; Ralph A, Thelma C, David A, Gladys D, Milton G, Neil G, Arthur G, Harry M, Stanley M, Clifford G, and his twin Ruby P, Ervin F and Alice M.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 21, 2017 at the Young Funeral Home with Dr. Craig Hexham officiating. A time of visitation will begin at 12:00 noon until the beginning of services.Burial will take place 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 22 at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens in Saginaw.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Alzheimers Association or Heartland Hospice.
