Bonnie Mae (Lawton) Sundell, age 70, passed away Friday, March 30, 2018 at home with family after a fight with brain cancer.
Bonnie was born April 11, 1947 in Cadillac to Floyd and Pauline Lawton.
She married Leon Sundell in Lake City in June 1991.
Bonnie was employed for sixteen years as a hostess at Bob Evans in Cadillac.
She loved gardening and everyone was envious of her flower beds ”and her green thumb.” She loved her grandkids and spending time swimming or fishing with them. Bonnie enjoyed dinner out on Friday nights with her close friends. She gave the world’s best hugs.
Bonnie is survived by her husband Leon of Lake City, her children: Rick (Bessie) Lipp of Belding, Cristina (David) Price of Battle Creek, Robin (Aaron) Keene of Cadillac and Dana (Dick) Raymer of Manton and her step children: Bruce (Amy) Sundell of Lake City, Teresa (Jeff) Smith of Gaylord, Jessica Sundell and Leon Scott Sundell of Lake City, twenty four grandkids and twenty two great grandkids.
Also surviving her are a brother, Jim Lawton of Cadillac and a sister, Patricia Snowden of Alpena.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Wayne and George and sisters, Lois Ince and Mary Houston and mother in law, Ruby Sundell.
A memorial luncheon will be from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at St. John Lutheran Church
