Barbara Ann Schoenmaker, age 71 of Lake City passed away May 10, 2017 at her home.

She was born November 9, 1945 in Falmouth to Albert and Bessie (Hooker) Cubitt.

Barbara married Clifford Jay Schoenmaker February 27, 1995 and he preceded her in death September 25, 2012.

Barbara enjoyed baking, fishing, hunting for mushrooms and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children Joany (Joshua Czygan) Nelson and RG Dunn, stepchildren: Clifford Jay Schoenmaker Jr and Pat Schoenmaker, five grandchildren Tanyshea, Jesse, Cierra, Kendra, Makayla and eleven inherited grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

She is also survived by brothers: Clyde Cubitt and George Cubitt and sisters: Marie Cowley and Thelma Curtis.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, a twin brother Robert Cubitt and seven siblings.

A time of visitation will be from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at the Young Funeral Home in Lake City.
