Audrey Pedlar, age 89 of Lake City passed away Saturday, January 7, 2017 at the Maple Ridge Living Center in Lake City.

Audrey was born March 2, 1927 in Detroit to Herman and Gladys (Free) Schaufele.

She married John F. Pedlar June 21, 1947 in Detroit. He preceded her in death December 29, 2004.

Audrey was a loving mother and thoroughly enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church in Lake City.

Audrey is survived by her daughter Linda (Gary) Snell of Redford Township, and two sons Fred Pedlar of Dexter and Jack (Carol) Pedlar of Lake City, seven grandchildren: Christie (Dave) Sabon, Kelly Snell, Nick Pedlar, Todd (Emily) Pedlar, James (Suzy) Pedlar, Shawn (Tammi) Pedlar and Bryan Pedlar and nine great grandchildren: Abbie, Hailey, Maddie, Jack, Austin, Ella, Juliana, Reece and Amee.

Beside her husband, John, she was also preceded in death by her parents, a sister Kaye and a daughter in law Sue Pedlar.

A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at the St. John Lutheran Church in Lake City with Pastor Rosanne Anderson officiating.
