Alisha Pearl Dewey, age 24 of Lake City passed away Sunday, April 10, 2016.

Alisha was born September 16, 1991 in Grand Rapids to Ted and Pamela (Snyder) Dewey.

Alisha graduated from Northern Michigan Christian School in McBain in 2009.

Alisha enjoyed marine biology, especially turtles. She went on to pursue her chosen field by receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science with a tract for Law in 2014 from Lake Superior State University in Sault Saint Marie. She loved the Lakers Hockey Team and enjoyed attending their events.

Alisha was a member of the Lake City Christian Reformed Church and loved serving the Lord through mentoring His children in their MOPS/MOPETS and GEMS ministries.
Alisha was employed at Bob Evans Restaurant in Cadillac.
Alisha thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her dog Mistee. She will be truly missed, and all those who loved her are looking forward to the day they will see her again in heaven.

She is survived by her mother Pamela Snyder of Lake City and her father Ted (Paula) Dewey of Cadillac and sisters, Heather and Gabrielle Dewey of Lake City.
Alisha is also survived by her grandmother Dianne Snyder of Arcadia, Florida and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Wesley Snyder.

A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at the Lake City Christian Reformed Church with Pastor Mical Pugh officiating. A time of visitation will be on Wednesday, April 13, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Lake City Christian Reformed Church and also 10:00 am on Thursday prior to the service.

In place of flowers the family is requesting memorial contributions be directed in Alisha’s name to the Lake City Christian Reformed Church MOPS program.
