Mildred E. Hankins (Trowbridge) Marlow

Cadillac - Mildred Hankins Marlow, of Cadillac, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2019 at Countryside Senior AFC Home. She was 92.

She was born Mildred Elaine Trowbridge, one of three girls, on March 14, 1927, at home in Antioch Township to Bart and Anna (Foster) Trowbridge. On June 17, 1946 she entered into marriage with, Robert Hankins, following his death she married Anthony Traub in 1987and after his passing met and married Charles Donald Marlow on June 27, 1998. Mildred made her living working with Michigan Bell  for over 29 years. She was a former member of the Rebekah's in Mesick.  

Mildred is survived by her loving family; her children, Robert (Alice) Hankins of Buckley, and Jerry (Terry) Hankins of Mesick; grandchildren, Jeff, Jamey, Brenda, Joshua; great-grandchildren, Dillon, Riley, Lisa, Emma, Blake, Liam, and Avery; step-children, Rod (Jill) Marlow, Jeff (Carol) Marlow, Nancy Marlow Mintz, and Mary Traub Bradley; several step-grandchildren; as well as many other loving family members and friends.  

She was preceded in death by her three husbands; one son, Bruce Allen Hankins; her sisters, Bessie Green and Rosetta Cross; and her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at the Buckley Tabernacle, with visitation one hour prior. Interment and committal services will follow at the Cornell Cemetery in Mesick.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Buckley Fire and Rescue. Mildred's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all those at Countryside and with Heartland Hospice for their exceptional care and assistance.
