Mary Hansen Obituary

Cadillac - Mary Ellen Hansen, of Cadillac passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2019 at Samaritas Senior Living. She was 92.

She was born on November 25, 1926, in Beulah, Michigan to George and Ida (Andrews) Harris. She grew up in Beulah becoming a graduate of Benzonia High School and stayed in the are until relocating to Manton in 1982.  Mary entered into marriage with Henry  Hansen on November 1, 1964, in Grand Rapids.  She made her living working in Frankfort and eventually in the packaging department for 4 Star in Mesick, before retiring in 1988.  She will be deeply missed.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Mary (Jim Harrington) Gibson of Lake City; three grandchildren; one brother, Paul Harris of Cedar Springs; as well as many other loving family members and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry in 2000; a son, William DeLong; on grandchild; her parents; her siblings, George Harris,Walter Harris, and Shirley Judd. 

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at the Manton United Methodist Church, with visitation one hour prior.  Interment alongside her husband, Henry will take place at Bloomfield Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in care of Mary Gibson. 

 

The family is being served by the Hall-Holdship Funeral Home.
