Lorraine Mary (Mehalko) Kubik

Lorraine Mary Kubik, 73, of  Houghton Lake passed away on Monday December 2, 2019 at Munson Healthcare Grayling Hospital.

Lorraine was born on May 26, 1946 in Detroit, Michigan to Charles and Elsie (Grawbowski) Mehalko.  She grew up in the Detroit area where she graduated from High school.  Lorraine worked in production for General Motors for many years at the Michigan Avenue Cadillac Plant. On September 13, 2002 in Detroit, Lorraine was married to Richard T. Kubik.  The couple moved from the Detroit area to St. Helen in 2004 and then to Houghton Lake in 2006. She enjoyed spending her time at home with her husband, Richard..

Surviving Mrs. Kubik are her loving husband, Richard T. Kubik; and her daughter Angela Kubik.  Lorraine was preceded in death by two brothers. 

Family services for Lorraine Mary Kubik will be conducted.  Interment will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, Michigan. Memorial contributions in memory of Lorraine are asked to be directed to the family. Christler Funeral Home, Houghton Lake Chapel is serving the family.
