Henry Farrier Obituary

Henry Earl Farrier, 66, of  Houghton Lake passed away on Tuesday March 5, 2019 at home.

Henry was born on May 28, 1952 in St. Johns, Michigan to Wayne  and Elizabeth (Nichols) Farrier. He grew up in the St Johns and Lansing area where he graduated from Rodney B. Wilson High School.  Henry served in the Navy following high school.  While serving in the Navy, Henry received his degree as a Registered Nurse.  He lived in Rose City and St. Helen and worked at Bortz of Rose City for many years.  He later worked as a driver for Steinie's Disposal of St. Helen.  Henry enjoyed bowling, playing cards and video games.

Surviving Mr. Farrier are his son, Don (Markisha) Farrier of CA; two daughters, Khristine (Rob Hopkins) Straight of Houghton Lake, and Barbara Farrier of Lansing; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; brother, Ron Farrier of FL; two sisters, Carla (Bob) Young of FL, and Nancy Forist of FL; several nieces and nephews.  Henry was preceded in death by his parents; son, Henry Farrier; two brothers, Chet Farrier, and Dale Farrier; sister, Phyllis Seyers. 

Memorial Services for Henry Earl Farrier will be conducted at a later date from the St Helen VFW Hall. Memorial contributions in memory of Henry are asked to be directed to the American Heart Association. Christler Funeral Home, Houghton Lake Chapel is serving the family.
