Geraldine D. (Cannon) Vieau

Geraldine D. Vieau, age 82, of Prudenville passed away on Saturday April 20, 2019 at the Lighthouse of Roscommon Health and Rehabilitation Center with her loving family by her side. 

Geraldine was born on June 9, 1936 in Royal Oak, Michigan to Howard and Mae (Bugbee) Cannon. She was married on June 20, 1953 in Berkley, Michigan to Dale R. Vieau. Geraldine was a member of the Houghton Lake Wesleyan Church. She enjoyed snowmobiling, bowling, ice skating, cooking, dancing and listening to music, she especially enjoyed spending time with her family and being a caregiver. 

Geraldine is survived by her daughters; Gail (Robert) Barnum of Prudenville and Claudia (Dennis) King of Omaha, Nebraska, five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, sisters; Cindy (Hal) Hampton of Georgia and Caroline (Lee) McGinnes of Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Dale R. Vieau and son; Michael Vieau. 

Funeral Services for Geraldine D. Vieau will be conducted at 6:00 pm on Thursday April 25, 2019 from Christler Funeral Home-Prudenville Chapel with Rev. Bryan Thompson officiating. Interment will be in Hamilton Township Cemetery, Harrison, Michigan on Friday April 26, 2019. Visitation will be held on Thursday April 25, 2019 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Christler Funeral Home-Prudenville Chapel. Christler Funeral Home- Prudenville Chapel is serving the family.
