Dona M. Reid

Bay City, Michigan- Dona Mae Reid, of Cadillac and formerly of the Bay City and Houghton Lake areas, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2019 at Samaritas Senior Living. She was 91.

Dona was born on December 3, 1927 in Saginaw, Michigan to Lewis and Wilma (Wise) Rodgers. On May 2, 1958 she entered into marriage with James Reid in Bay City. She spent her career working at Lufkin Rule Company in Saginaw. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and going to The Dona Mae (Cabin) in Houghton Lake.

Dona is survived by her sister, Sharon (Raymond) Pinet of Cadillac; special friend, Jack Brown of Houghton Lake; many nieces and nephews; great great nephew, Joshua Alan Pinet and soon to be great great niece, baby Adalynn Pinet; and other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Reid and her parents, Lewis and Wilma Rodgers, sisters Betty (George) Safranek, and Shirely (George) Lennox.

A committal service will be held on Monday, October 21, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Oakwood Memorial Mausoleum in Saginaw, Michigan.
