Dennis A. Dankert

Dennis A. Dankert, age 67, of Prudenville passed away on Sunday October 20, 2019 after a motorcycle accident.

Dennis was born on September 16, 1952 in Prudenville, Michigan to Herbert and Shirley (Apps) Dankert. He worked as a butcher for over 30 years at Glen's Market and did local deer processing. Dennis was married on April 19, 1975 in Chesaning to Kathy L. Tithof. He enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, traveling, spending time with his family and grandchildren. 

Dennis is survived by his wife of 44 years; Kathy Dankert of Prudenville, daughter; Denise (Sean) Nagy of Prudenville and son; John (Sheri) Dankert of Prudenville, mother; Shirley Dankert of Prudenville, grandchildren; Sarah and Macy Nagy and Myla, Jordan, Ayla and Treyvin Dankert, brothers; Herbert (Crystal) Dankert Jr. of Prudenville, Dan (Deb) Dankert of Prudenville, Keith (Tammy) Dankert of Prudenville and Doug Dankert of Prudenville and sister; Francene (Doug) France of Prudenville. He was preceded in death by his father; Herbert C. Dankert Sr. and sister; Patricia Dankert. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at The Northern Center located at 7784 Stone Schhol Road, Houghton Lake on Saturday November 2, 2019 from 1-4 pm. Christler Funeral Home- Prudenville Chapel is serving the family. Condolences can be sent to the family online at www.christler-holdship.com
