Barbara L. (Franklin) Patterson

Barbara L. Patterson, age 69, of Houghton Lake passed away on Saturday May 4, 2019 at Mid-Michigan Medical Center in Midland surrounded by her loving family. 

Barbara was born on June 29, 1949 in Howell, Michigan to Bernie and Katherine (Wiles) Franklin. She married Jay Patterson on February 8, 1969 in Howell. Barbara enjoyed spending time with her family and especially enjoyed her grandchildren.

Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 50 years; Jay Patterson of Houghton Lake; daughters; Amy (Richard) Starr of Howell and Jill (Steve) Mieske of Owosso, five grandchildren; Kayte (Dillon), Megan, Molly, Todd and Cole, sisters; Carol (Bud) Rife of Fowlerville and Sue Donaldson of Howell. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother; Mike Franklin. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Houghton Lake Eagles on Saturday June 29, 2019 from 11 am until 2 pm. Christler Funeral Home-Houghton Lake Chapel is serving the family. Condolences can be sent to the family online at www.christler-holdship.com
