Gerald Richard Maddox

Gerald Richard Maddox, lifelong resident of Cadillac, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at Sunnyside Senior Living in Cadillac. He was 71.

Gerald was born on December 18, 1952 in Cadillac, Michigan to Ernest Leroy and Evelyn Ruth (Hudson) Maddox. He attended school at ITT Technical Institute and then later taught electronics courses there as well. Gerald spent his career working in electronics for Nartron. He proudly answered the call of duty, serving in the United States Army. In his spare time, he could often be found listening to music, especially Rock-n-Roll or Blues, like BB King. Gerald also enjoyed watching movies of all sorts. He cherished the time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.
  
Gerald  is survived by his loving children, Christopher and Krystle Maddox of LeRoy, and Amanda and Judd Kowalski of Cadillac;grandchildren, Ethan, Shelby, Vivian, Nevaeh, and Wesley; and many other loving family and friends. 
  
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Bill, Ernie, Dale and Kenny; a sister, Karen; and his best friend and furry companion, Flash.
