Tyler Calvin Lockwood of Lake City passed away Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. Tyler was 18 years old.

Tyler was born November 16, 1997 in Cadillac, Michigan

Tyler was a student at Lake City High School and was a member of the graduating Class of 2016.
As a student of the advanced industrial arts wood shop, Tyler assisted in building the new Trojan picnic tables for the school. Throughout his life he always had an interest in drawing and was an awesome artist.

He was always involved in helping those in his community. He loved to fish and liked to cook and enjoyed camping and heavy metal music.

Tyler is survived by his parents Dave and Angie Noren of Lake City and Tim Lockwood of TX, and brothers; Anthony Johnson of Colorado, Zack, Sabby, Eyn, and Evan Noren of Lake City and a half sister; Autumn Skye Lockwood of TX.

He is also survived by his grandfathers: Calvin Cook of Wolverine and Ronald Noren of Cadillac and grandparents: Bill and Lois Lockwood of TX.

Tyler was preceded in death by his grandmothers: Peggy “Nana” Cook and Linda “Mema” Noren.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. on Friday, March 25, 2016 at the Lake City High School gymnasium with Rev. Larry Shetenhelm officiating.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 24, 2016 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Young Funeral Home.

An After Party will follow the celebration of Tyler’s life until 9:00 pm at the Lake City High School cafeteria.
