Sheri Lee Martinez, age 71, of Cadillac passed away July 28, 2017 at Munson Healthcare Cadillac Hospital.
Sheri was born July 23, 1946 in Windsor, Ontario to Vincent S. and Dorothy (Davis) Bouza.
She married Fernando S. Martinez January 24, 1969 in Greenville. He preceded her in death June 10, 2008.
Sheri was a graduate of Lake City High School and had been employed as a nurses aid at the Wright’s Adult Foster Care home in Manton. In her younger years she took tap dance and ballet lessons. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting and loved animals and watching the birds. Sheri was a Christian and enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her sons: Daymion Martinez of McBain and Quinton Martinez of Arkansas, grandchildren: Tara, Troy, Sierra, Samantha and Terry Martinez and great grandchildren: Aria, Blaire, Aurora, Lillian and Riley and a brother: Larry Bouza of Lake City.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Fernando.
Graveside services will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 3, 2017 at the Falmouth Cemetery with Chris Reitz officiating.
