Patsy Ann Emond of Lake City passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at her home. She was 73 years old.

Patsy was born July 1, 1942 in Pioneer Township, Missaukee County to Anton and Alice (Helsel) Hejnal.

On June 6, 1960 Patsy married Junior Emond.

Patsy was self employed for 40 years as an Adult Foster Care provider.
She loved to watch birds and enjoyed her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She always enjoyed the challenge of working on puzzles.

Patsy is survived by her husband Junior and children Karen Emond, Anna (Scott) Crane and Joe (Shelley) Emond all residing in Lake City.

She is also survived by her grandchildren: Tanya, Lindsay, Sarah, Emily, Nick, Chelsie, Tyler, Hannah, Olivia, Koby, Willow and Ivy and ten great grandchildren and a brother David (Tong) Hejnal of Lake City.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Shirley Elliott, brother, Boliver Hejnal and a son, Charlie Emond.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Young Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Lewis officiating.
Visitation will be on Friday, March 25, 2016 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home.

Burial will be in the Lake City Cemetery

Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude’s Hospital.
