Lucille Aline Ulanski, age 72 formerly of Lake City passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at her daughter’s home in Traverse City. Lucille was born June 26, 1942 in Highland Park to Edward and Jean (Roux) Beaudet. Lucille grew up in Allen Park and graduated from Allen Park High School. In Dearborn, Michigan on August 15, 1960 she was united in marriage to Richard Ulanski, She and Richard were owners of the Green Knoll Resort in Lake City and the Lake City Yamaha Dealership for a number of years. Lucille had served as president of the Lake City Chamber of Commerce and was manager of the Dairy Queen in Cadillac. Lucille was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church in Lake City where she was very actively involved in every aspect of church activities. She loved Christmas and for the last 10 years she was known as the “wreath lady”, as her time was spent making wreaths and working on a Christmas tree lot in Florida. Life to Lucille was all about her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She thoroughly enjoyed every minute she could spend with them. She always felt most at home in warmer climates; on the water or at the beach. Lucille was comfortable when she could sit with her tablet and play games and stay in touch with her many friends. She will be dearly missed by her husband Richard, formerly of Lake City and her children: Michelle (Doug) Reichert of Traverse City, Denise (Jeff) Dow of Traverse City and Richard (Sarah) Ulanski of Gaylord, eight grandchildren: Brendon, Jessica, Zachary, Jacob, Chad, Derek, Mary and Luke and two great grandchildren Kallie and Cameron. Her brother Raymond (Roseann) Beaudet of Leroy also survives her. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 22, 2014 at the St. Stephen Catholic Church in Lake City with Rev. Jim Siler officiating.
