Lee Earl Emery, age 45, of Houghton Lake passed away Friday, August 18, 2017
Lee was born March 13, 1972 in Cadillac to Delbert and Sandra (Storey) Emery.
He was employed by Brian’s Boat Marina in Houghton Lake. Lee enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved his family and being on his boat.
Lee is survived by his wife Melody Emery of Houghton Lake and daughter Leeza Emery of Pinckney, his mother Sandra Storey of Houghton Lake and his father Delbert F. Emery of Falmouth, three brothers: Del (Gloria) Emery of Falmouth, Dick (Courtney) Stout and Cory (Amanda Fewless) Stout of Houghton Lake and three sisters: Shelby Watson of Merritt, Lisa
(Larry) Baker of Waterford and Amanda (Patrick) Gibbons of Prudenville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Lee was preceded in death by a his grandfather: Fred Emery and grandmother: Iva Storey, sister Barbara Stout, brother in law, Timothy Watson, his niece Harper and Baby Emery on January 15, 2013, grandfather Fred Emery and grandmother Iva Storey.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at the Young Funeral Home in Lake City with Pastor Jeff Tuttle officiating. A time of visitation will begin at 12:00 noon until the time of services.
Burial will take place in the Butterfield Township Cemetery..
