Jimmy F. Jordan, age 66 of Lake City, passed away Thursday, June 19, 2014 at his home.
He was born December 8, 1947 in Fort Worth, Texas to Arnold and Eunice (Herod) Jordan.
Jimmy married the former Connie Weaver in 1990.
He was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving during the Vietnam War. He had been employed as a truck driver for a medical delivery company. After his retirement they moved from Pontiac to the Lake City area. Jimmy was a life member of the Vietnam Veterans of America and a member of the American Legion Post #300 in Lake City.
He was an avid sport fan and enjoyed passing the time watching car racing, football, golf and
baseball; especially the Tigers.
Jimmy is survived by his wife Connie, and sons: Jimmy (Angie) Jordan, Eddie Jordan and Robbie Jordan all of Tennessee and step daughters: Shannon Ellhof of Michigan and Mary Ellhof of Ohio, as well as eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
He is also survived by four brothers: Calvin (Lori) Jordan of Michigan, Wayne Jordan of Texas, and Doug (Bonnie) Jordan and Theodore (Linda) Jordan both of Michigan, and two sisters: Mary (Walter) Hoskins and Jean (Todd) Jones both of Michigan.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents.

Military graveside services will be conducted at 2:30 pm, on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
