James Lawson Wyman, age 90 of Lake City passed away at his home, Friday, April 17, 2015.

He was born September 30, 1924 in Dayslind, Alberta, Canada to Milton and Sara (Deck) Wyman.

Jim married the former Marie Fraser in June of 1983 in Sorrento, British Columbia

He worked in the logging business in Northern British Columbia prior to becoming a fund raiser for Christian Record Services for the Blind for 25 years. He enjoyed crocheting and traveling.

Jim is survived by his wife, Marie, a son, Donald Douglas Wyman of Keizer, Oregon, a daughter, Patricia Dawn Wyman of Portland, Oregon and a step daughter, Karen Cascaddan of Walled Lake. He is also survived by four grandchildren: Timothy James Wyman, serving in the Marines; Bethany Wyman of Oregon; Brandy Lynn Wyman of Cadillac, Crystal Dawn Wyman of Portland, Oregon; two step grandchildren: Mellisa and Daniel Cascaddan and three great grandchildren: Ronald James, Damon and Hunter Wyman as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.

Graveside services will be held 3:00 p.m., on Sunday, May 10, 2015 at the Aetna Township Cemetery with Pastor Pat Milligan officiating.
