Dan Swick, age 80 of Lake City, passed away Thursday, July 6, 2017 at his home. Dan was born March 9, 1937 in Sauble Township, MI to Burton (B.F.) and Alvina (Gerbert) Swick. He married the former Patricia M. Schneider on March 21, 1998 in Buckley, MI.

Dan was the business owner of Swick Custom Butchering that was established in August 1983 and continued with the same business name under new ownership since 2017. He continued to be the butcher and meat cutter until March 2017.

Dan is survived by his wife Patricia and children: Ivy of Texas, Danny of Arizona, Joel of California, several step-children, many grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings: Andrew, Bert, William, Patrick, Mary Mae (Midge), Alvina (Twink), Lorraine and Micki, daughter: Joy Ann, grandson: Jonathon and son-in-law: Lonnie Lasseigne.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm, on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at the Covenant Presbyterian Church, 108 Church St, Tustin, MI with Pastor Keith Bergstrom officiating.
