Elinor Lynn Wade, age 73 of Lake City passed away January 27, 2017 at the Medilodge of Mt. Pleasant in Mt Pleasant.

She was born July 5, 1943 in Detroit to Robert and Loes (Coffey) McKaig.

Elinor married Irvin E. Wade. He preceded her in death in 1997.

Elinor was a member of the Moose Lodge of Cadillac and had been employed as a Greeter at Meijers in Cadillac.
She loved to play Bingo and shop the Thrift Stores and always enjoyed time spent with her family.

She is survived by children Tammie L. Fogal and Shawn Wade, grandchildren: Alayna (Matt) Nederhoed, Breana Fogal and Kelsey and Brandy Brewer and her great grandchildren: Adelynn and Ryland Nederhoed. She is also survived by a sister Nancy Miller.

Elinor was also preceded in death by her parents and a brother William McKaig.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 3, 2017 at the Young Funeral Home in Lake City. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm until the time of services.

Burial will take place at the Stittsville Cemetery in the spring.
