Douglas E. Rosenberry, age 86 of Lake City passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at his home.
Doug was born December 10, 1928 in Caro, Michigan to Harold and Francis (Gostizk) Rosenberry.
He married the former Vicki F. Monroe in Caro on December 15, 1952
Doug was a veteran of the US Army, serving in Korea.
He was employed as an engineer for several phone companies after his military service.
After his retirement from the Continentel Phone Company he reentered the work field with Century Tel and again retired after 45 total years of employment with phone companies.
Doug was a member of the American Legion Post #300 of Lake City.
He is survived by his wife Vicki and daughter Sondra Rosenberry of Traverse City and a son Douglas L. Rosenberry of Lake City and a sister Georgia Downing of Clio.
He was preceded in death by a brother Donald Rosenberry.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 10, 2015 at the Young Funeral Home with Rev. Donald VanDyke officiating. Visitation will begin on Friday at 11:00 a.m, until the service time.
Burial will be in the Lake City Cemetery with military honors by the American Legion Post #300.
