Donna E. Fagerlie, age 84 of Lake City passed away Thursday, September 10, 2015 surrounded by her family at Munson Healthcare Cadillac Hospital in Cadillac

Donna was born May 11, 1931 in Pontiac to Daryl and Elizabeth (Wettrick) Stump.

Donna moved to Lake City from Pontiac in the early 1970’s and later was employed at the Town Pump,
in the heart of Lake City. She soon became a familiar icon as her smiling face, behind the bar greeted people. She was well known and loved by the whole town.

Donna met Mark Markham and for eleven years they shared the adventures of traveling extensively throughout the United States. Donna would often recall with fondness her many memories of all the places she had the pleasure of visiting.
They absolutely enjoyed the area of our Nation’s Capitol, including the FBI National Academy
in Quantico, VA.
Donna was especially very touched by visiting Arlington National Cemetery.
She also loved her many trips to Las Vegas; gambling was her forte’.
Donna loved playing cards, a game of Bingo and weekend casino bus trips.
She was a member of the Lake City Eagles.

Donna was always available and supportive of her family. She enjoyed spending time with her great grandchildren.

She will surely be missed by her special friend Mark Markham of Lake City, along with her son, Greg and Ginger Hale and family of Cadillac, her granddaughter, Jennifer Young of Lake City and two great grandchildren, Austin Gibson and Tamara Young.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and a daughter Debbie.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at the Young Funeral Home in Lake City with Rev. William Markham officiating. Visitation will begin that morning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.

Burial will take place in the Lake City Cemetery.
