Donald R. Boudrie, age 85 of rural Lake City, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Mercy Hospital in Cadillac.

Donald was born in Detroit November 24, 1928 to Raymond Joseph and Catherine Boudrie.

He enjoyed his life at Magnolia Adult Foster Care home and the companionships of all his friends. He had an occasional date with his girlfriend, Lynn.

Donald was a faithful Detroit Tigers fan (whether they won or lost). The highlight of his life was playing a game of baseball with Special Olympics team at Tiger Stadium. He was employed and had his own office at sheltered workshops; Hope Network and Northern Lakes Community Health in Cadillac.

He is survived by relatives Denise Miller of Milford, Sharon Borden of Indiana and Judy Everett of California and their families and also by his guardian for many years Nancy Roberts.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, and step mother; J. Marie Stoner and his aunt and uncle; Ed and Evelyn Robb.

Burial was in the Lake City Cemetery, Monday, November 17, 2014 at 2:30 p.m.
