David Leroy Prause, age 59, of Falmouth, passed away at his home, Thursday, November 8, 2012.
He was born September 28, 1953 in Shelby to Donald and Roselyn (Derenzy) Prause.
David enjoyed spending time with his family and watching his Michigan sports teams.
He is survived by his wife Lorrie (Pace) Prause, and children: David and Shannon Prause of Lyons, Harvey and Kim (Prause) Haller of Bridgeport, Mike and Tracie (Prause) Eikey of Lowell, Mark and Jackie (Nederhoed) Boughner of Cadillac and Matt and Alayna Nederhoed of Falmouth and twelve grandchildren.
Also surviving him are his brothers: Larry (Debby) Prause and Brad Prause of Alanson, Stan (Nancy) Prause of Hemet, CA, Danny(Sandy) Prause of Grayling, Dennis Prause of High Point, NC and Jim Prause of Dove Canyon, CA and sisters: Beverly (Carol) Smith of San Dimas, CA and Charlene Overturf of Huntington Beach, CA.
He is also survived by his mother in law: Pinky Pace of Falmouth, sister in law: JoLynn (Larry) Davison of Falmouth, brothers in law: Kenneth (April) Pace of Falmouth and James Pace of Florida.
David was preceded in death by his mother Rose Ramano and father Donald Prause and father in law Jim Pace.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 12, 2012 at the Young Funeral Home in Lake City with Rev. Jeff Schrock officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, November 11, 2012 from 2:00-5:00 pm at the funeral home.
Burial will be in the Moddersville East Cemetery.
