Dan Gene DeBree, “Missaukee’s Best Lite Promoter” age 66 of Lake City passed away Saturday, June 24, 2017 at his home.
Dan was born October 31, 1950 at the farm in Lake City to Henry “Todd” and Ann (Bronkema) DeBree.
He graduated from Lake City High School in 1968. Dan was an auto mechanic and owner of Dan’s Auto Repair in Lake City for 35 years. He enjoyed being with the boys; fishing, hunting, watching NASCAR and drinking beer. Dan always looked forward to fishing trips in Canada. He was a member of the Lake City Eagles Lodge 3884.
Dan is survived by his sons Timothy DeBree of Lake City and Ryan DeBree of Saginaw, granddaughters: Ashlynn, Autumn and Kelly DeBree and his sisters: Arliss Mason of Grand Rapids, Mary (Ed) Stephan of Lake City, Lorraine (Ronald) Roberts of St. Johns and Connie Palmer of Ravenna, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Dan was preceded in death by his parents, brother in law, Robert Mason and nephew, Josh.
A time of gathering will be Friday, June 30, 2017 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the Young Funeral Home followed by a Celebration of Life at the Town Pump Saloon in Lake City.
